John commenced his career with the Australian Taxation Office in several roles and began practising law in 1988. Prior to joining O’Loughlins Lawyers as a partner in 2002, John was the Corporate Solicitor with FH Faulding & Co Limited, a partner with the Business Services Division of Minter Ellison and then established John Levy & Co, Barristers & Solicitors. John is a Fellow and active member of the Education Committee of the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Taxation Committee of the Law Council of Australia (Business Law Section) and a Director and Chairman of the Review Panel with Greyhound Racing SA Ltd. He is an active member of the South Australian Cricket Association, the South Australian Jockey Club and the West Adelaide Football Club.
