Brooke Kennedy | Senior Associate
Brooke is an experienced family lawyer, having commenced her career in 2007.
She has a wide range of experience and has represented clients in complex parenting matters and property settlements involving married couples or de facto partnerships. Her experience also extends to same sex property settlement and parenting matters, relocation and recovery matters involving children, reaching agreements by consent and formalising them by way of Binding Financial Agreements or Consent Minutes, and property settlements involving companies or trust structures.
Brooke has an empathetic yet determined approach in guiding clients to achieve the best possible resolution in their family law matter. She assists clients to resolve matters through mediation, and, when necessary, guides them through the litigation process.
She has been recommended in the Doyle's guide as a leading Parenting, Custody and Children's Matters lawyer in 2018 and 2020.
This is what some of Brooke's clients have to say about her:
“Brooke was diligent, thorough, and left no rock unturned. She fought for me, and I felt she was truly the best person to have in my court. Brooke has exceptional listening, recall and notation skills. She was empathetic, whilst remaining professional, and assisted me to hold it together in my most fragile moments. Brooke empowered me to keep going, kept me well informed throughout the process (through various forms of communication). She is highly professional, reliable, accessible, honest and upfront. She never mislead me, and I felt she did everything she could to make me feel supported, comfortable and valued.
I am so glad I was recommended Brooke Kennedy as my legal representative, as she made our journey as pain free as possible, and through her vast experience and knowledge, achieved the most incredible outcome (for us) of which we will forever be grateful.”
