Melanie Fuss | Senior Associate
Melanie was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2001 and joined O’Loughlins Lawyers in 2018. She specialises in health and aged care, retirement living and property law.
After spending 10 years in private practice acting for a wide range of clients – from individuals and small businesses through to large corporate clients and major property developers – Melanie then spent six years in the public sector advising on a major reform project to implement electronic conveyancing. As part of that project, she was involved in drafting the recent amendments to the Real Property Act 1886 (SA).
Melanie’s expertise as a property lawyer was recognised with the award of the inaugural Urban Development Institute of Australia (SA Division) Stuart Main Young Development Professional Scholarship in 2005. She is also a former member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Property Committee.
Since returning to private practice, Melanie has expanded her practice to include a focus on health, aged care and retirement living.
