Monique Bradley | Senior Associate
Monique graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours), has subsequently been awarded a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (formerly Securities Institute of Australia), and has recently obtained a Master of Laws from the Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne, receiving the 2011 AMPLA Award for Petroleum Law.
Monique worked as a solicitor in the Corporatisation Group and the Advisory Section of the Crown Solicitor’s Office before joining O’Loughlins Lawyers in 1996. She was appointed as a Senior Associate in 1999.
Monique has a particular interest and experience in corporate, mining, resources and native title law, having prepared solicitor’s tenement reports, conducted due diligence and assisted in prospectus preparation in connection with numerous listings (and capital raisings) of mining and resource companies with tenements in jurisdictions throughout Australia, and has also negotiated and provided advice in relation to exploration access agreements, native title agreements, tenement acquisition and joint venture documentation.
To complement her practice in this area, Monique’s Law Masters studies and research focussed on corporate and resource law, including minerals and petroleum law, native title law, resource joint ventures, water law, securities legislation and corporate governance.
Monique has also worked extensively in general commercial law, including commercial leasing, corporate restructures, sales and purchases of businesses, liquor licensing and trademarks and provision of general commercial advice.
